I find corruption to be the fundamental problem with our government, leading to unfair legislation that favors those with money, power, and influence as opposed to the average American citizen.

I think we can combat systemic corruption by reinvigorating the democratic process. Nominating a Presidential candidate like Senator Bernie Sanders would be extraordinarily symbolic, in that it would show the "powers that be" in this country that the people demand an end to pernicious corruption in politics. Most importantly, it would show the "billionaire class" that people aren't afraid to exercise their power!
