The Love Knowledge Free Library

I want to announce the beginning of a program that I hope will generate more participation in our online community as well as sharing knowledge with our users. Starting next month in January 2026, we will be giving away a free book each month to the user with the biggest contribution to our online community. The 'biggest contribution' will consist of not only the most active members of the community who post most often, but it will also consider the substance of the contributions with those that show more effort being rewarded more. So, for example, simply posting a lot of short comments like 'thanks for sharing' or 'great article', doesn't add much value to the community but a thoughtful comment that gives feedback, shares new information, links to other articles or content online that is relevant, and so forth, will be valued higher. In the end, it will be a bit arbitrary how to rank different users contributions and perhaps if it is too close to call, multiple winners may be awarded. 

We will be looking at any activity within the Community tab (User Community / Discussions / Blogs / Submissions) as well as any comments posted to any article for all other sections of the website. Those who are selected as winners cannot win again for at least 12 months. As this is a new program, the rules are not necessarily set in stone. Multiple winners per month may be a path we eventually choose, or perhaps winners cannot win again for 6 months instead of 12, and so on. Monthly winners will select any book of their choosing from one of two Amazon lists linked below, then email their selection and shipping address to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. To help cover shipping costs, winners will be asked to donate $5 if they live in the continental US. Those further away would be asked to donate more, depending on shipping cost. These donations are voluntary but would be appreciated to help sustain the program. 

There are currently over 180 free books in our library but that list is expected to grow almost every week. Note that these are all used books and most are in good to very good condition. Please browse through both lists below:
